I-10 sculpture at top of exitThis sculpture was sitting on each side of Walnut Canyon Road at the I-10 exit. I'm not quite sure why, but hey, it's not my tax money.
welcome and direction signsThe entrance to the visitors center marked by rock signsThe entrance. These are some creative welcoming signs painted on rock.
The parking area is shared by both cars and RVsThe parking lot is a circle with bus and RV parking in the center and autos on the outside. The official page warns vehicles over 40 feet that they may have problems making the turn around. I had no problem with a 33' motorhome.

displays in the visitors centerThe visitors center has a small display center with shadow boxes on the local native americans, wildlife, and weather.

The forward display unit shows dried plants adn their uses, the shadow boxes in the back has pottery and information on the local Indians.

The inside observation area. Probably a great thing when its hot or coldThere are stairs and an elevator to a viewing area with an adjacent outside viewing platform. After this you're committed to stairs up and down the cliffs.

This inside viewing area must be great because of the extremes of the weather here in Arizona.
